Well, here it is. 2:35PM on Monday and the only thing I've done yet today is run to the bank! It feels sooo nice to have a day off :) But I'm really excited to go to KY tomorrow for radio :) I'll be visiting WKDZ! It'll be a blast. It always is when you've got 2 totally fun guys to goof off with in the car... there's Alex, practically my manager/promoter.. who works sooo hard for me, I can't thank him enough! And then there's Jason. He's my totally off the wall rebel guitar player. He's wicked good!
But I'll tell you why I'm really stoked for this afternoon :) So here's the backstory- My roommate/ AMAZING friend Beth turned 25 this past April. I was bummed to learn that I had to miss her surprise party that our friend Chelsea and I had been putting together. I had found out just a couple of days before that I'd still be out on my 3 week radio tour (don't get me wrong, IT ROCKED!) but of course I still wanted to be there for my friend's bday, right? So For her birthday, I planned for the 3 of us to have Lunch and then get pampered with massages at Escape Day Spa in Nashville :) which of course meant I then had to cancel them :( major sad face. But We FINALLY rescheduled everything for today!!! So We are gonna leave here in about 5 minutes to eat at Logan's Steakhouse followed my our massages! We are all pretty excited. I can't think of a better way to spend my Monday/ day off than doing so with 2 of my closest friends celebrating a much belated happy birthday :)
