Sorry it's been a few days since I've posted! I've been a busy bee! In the last week, I've managed to go on a day trip to Cadiz, KY for a radio visit with WKDZ! It was a fun trip, too! I met the DJ, Carrie, who was just a doll and an excellent interviewer! Jason (my guitar player) and I rocked out to one of my favorite songs off my EP- I'm Way Into You. Kinda funny story too- So I woke up that morning to beautiful sunshine and thought it would be a great day to wear a sundress! WRONG. By the time we got there, it was pouring! Seriously, buckets were coming down, not sparing dry land anywhere! Haha! But it was still a great day, none-the-less. After that, I was able to find some great clothes for performing! Gotta love that my career presents many opportunities to find cute clothes! And I even managed to pick a new song to record! Can't tell ya what it is yet, but I promise you'll Love It! :) I know I do!
Annnyhow, I'm leaving Nashville tomorrow for a quick 5 day trek through Indiana and Ohio! We'll be starting in Lafayette, IN. to visit with a radio station :) Later, come Tuesday Night, I'll be taking some radio friends to the New York Yankees VS.Cincinnati Reds game @ Cincinnati! It's gonna be awesome! I love my Yanks ;) I'm hoping this time I get to watch them do some real damage! Not to Mention, my man, Derek Jeter JUST MIGHT be hitting his 3.000 there! (If he isn't still on the Disabled List) FEEL BETTER DJ#2! :)
After the game I'll be visiting a couple more stations, one in Cincinnati and another in Cleveland, OH. It's gonna be a busy week, lots of driving, and a bit of down time! Should give me lots of time to get on here and update y'all on the happenings of each day!
And of course, it's almost 10PM here and I haven't even put one thing in my suitcase! Oh, Dear! Haha. I guess I'd better get started :)
