Well Hi!! My gosh, where to start?!  

Ok, ok... I know I've promised to keep y'all updated on my day to day life... but I'll tell ya, it's been one heck of a whirlwind! Hence- why it's taken me forever to update this blog! I'm Sorry! (Don't forget, you can typically keep up with me on facebook, which I update daily- sometimes more!)

So-  When I last updated, we were in the middle of the Don't Make Me Radio Tour, right? Right! CRS had come and gone, and went swimmingly :) ... Since then, the label and I decided to take the first 5 songs I recorded with them and make an official EP (extended play) album, which I cleverly titled "First 5" .. It's got all my singles we've released to Country radio, including hits like "Nothing," "Girl With A Fishing Rod," & "Don't Make Me."  It also includes a song, which has become a favorite of mine, ALL CRIED OUT... We are releasing it to radio in less than a week! (Monday, June 18, 2012).. and I am SOOOOO Stoked! :)   Even cooler- we made my VERY FIRST Official Music Video for the single! I got the chance to work with the very established and talented RAY BOONE..I'll tell ya, Mr. Mike Borchetta NEVER ceases to AMAZE me with all he does for me and the faith he has in me. The Borchettas are such incredible people<3!  In just the last 24 hours we've gotten over 3,000 hits on YouTube, bring the total to over 11,000 as of this morning! WOW! I have the BEST fans & friends! All the support I'm getting in literally blowing my mind :)  

So please, if you have a second, go to the Media page (Button at the top of this screen) and watch the first video at the top of the page! It's also on my About Kelly page.  It'd be so cool if y'all can share it on your facebook profiles, twitter, etc... leave comments, too! (knowing what you think is one of my favorite parts of being able to leave comments!)

Something else about the video that's got me realllllly excited is that in just a short time, the Official Music Video for All Cried Out will be available on MUSIC CHOICE ON DEMAND! How COOL!?!  Just go to your onDemand menu, go to music>genre>country>Kelly Parkes: All Cried Out .... I can't wait! What an unbelievable experience/opportunity I'm being given! Thanks Tiff! :) 

As for anything else, well, the label and I are preparing for the ALL CRIED OUT RADIO TOUR 2012 :) It's gonna be awesome! The writer's of the song are from Canada...guess who just got her passport?! This Girl!  I'll not only be touring the US, but Canada as well! I've even got a good friend I might be able to visit while I'm on tour! - haven't seen him since I was 13 years old, celebrating Christmas & New Years in Florida!

I've got quite a bit going on and it's going to be a crazy few months to come, but I'm ready! Are You?! 

Don't forget, come Monday (6.18.12), call your favorite Country Radio stations and start requesting ALL CRIED OUT!
